Florencia Cueto is currently a lecturer in Hotel Distribution as well as the Project Manager at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi. She holds a Master in Innovative Hospitality Management from the Ramon Llull University, Oxford Brookes University and Maastricht Hotel Management School. She is also Graduated in Tourism Management at A Coruña University. Before joining TSI, she worked at TravelClick as an Account Manager for Strategic Accounts in Northern Europe; and at the Spanish Tourist Office in Milan working within the Marketing and PR Department.
Ricard Santomà is the Dean and an associate professor in the areas of Business Management and Quality Management at the School of Tourism & Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Universitat Ramon Llull, a Master’s Degree in Information Society from UOC, a Postgraduate in Human Resources Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universitat de Barcelona. Recently he obtained the Advanced Management Program Degree at ESADE and the Business Opportunities and Financial Challenges Program at Wharton Business School.
Marc Correa is PhD in Administration and Management from the Ramon Llull University, and graduate in Organizational Development by Columbia University (New York) and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of San Francisco, in the area of personal development.
He is an expert in leadership, teacher at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi and at ESADE Business School.
At present she is the Assistant Director of Turisme de Barcelona since 2007, organism responsible for promoting the city of Barcelona as a tourist destination.
She is Graduated in Economics and Management Sciences by Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona and has an MA in Local Government with specialization in Urban and Regional Planning at the Bartlett School, University College London.
Antonio Hermosilla is currently a lecturer in Marketing and Destination Management at the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi. He is Director of the Master In Tourism Business and Events at Sant Ignasi. He studied at London University and undertook his Postgraduate studies at the University of Southern California in Humanities. He also owns a small Destination Management Company in Barcelona.
Jeff Stone was part of the original team at iHotelier starting in 2001 and later became part of TravelClick when iHotelier was acquired in 2004. He has seen multiple changes in the hotel industry and moreover in electronic distribution. Jeff is the Senior Director of Ecommerce for the International Division covering Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. His key responsibilities within the organization are key electronic distribution accounts, sales strategy, and product development. Jeff is originally from California and graduated from Texas Christian University.
TravelClick VP of Learning Services and EMEA and Asia Operations, joined TravelClick in 2013 as Director of Customer Care and Implementation for Europe. Before TravelClick, Leda was working for Google where she initially led the EMEA Customer Satisfaction & Quality team out of Dublin and then moved to Google HQ in Mountain View, California to oversee globally their Customer Care and Online Help Strategic Initiatives. Previously, she held various European positions at Hewlett Packard – mainly focusing on sales operations. Leda holds a Master in Communication Science, from the University of Turin. She is native Italian, and speaks fluent Spanish and English
Daniel Isern studied architecture at the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and The University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), and obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Rehabilitation at the UPC. In 2011 he opened his own office Isern i Asociats which currently employs a number of full- and part-time architects, providing architectural services for Hotel, Residential and Leisure Projects. Right now, Isern Associats is developing a 5 Star Hotel in Barcelona, the renovation of a 4 star hotel on the Costa Brava , several single family houses, and a culinary school in Israel.
Matt Heckman has been teaching European law and European economic integration for 27 years at various universities in the Netherlands. He was Director of International Affairs for 14 years at a Dutch University and is currently teaching at various graduate programs (both MBA and MA) in the Netherlands, Finland (Satakunta University), UK (Oxford Brookes University) and the USA (Tennessee Tech University).
Patricia began her career in 1999 at the corporate department of Revenue Management, Marriott International, in Frankfurt. Afterwards she joined Optims, a technology provider, for the implementation of automated revenue management solutions in hotels. In 2003 she founded her own consulting and training company, helping hotels to implement processes, culture and Revenue Management technology, until she joined IDeaS Revenue Solutions in January 2016 as Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal. She also collaborates with universities and different education centers to facilitate Revenue Management content. Patricia graduated in law from ICADE, in Tourism by the Official School of Tourism, she holds a Master in Hotel Management by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master in Marketing Online by UDIMA, Madrid Open University.
