School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Manatement Sant Ignasi (HTSI),  located in Barcelona and affiliated to the ESADE Foundation, was founded by the Jesuits and is the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Universitat Ramon Llull. It has a clear mission: to impel teaching, research and toprovide its students with the essential  knowledge for management of organizations in t ourism and hospitality. HTSI´s aim is to contribute to the scientific, social and humanistic skills of competent graduates who are the professionals of the future. HTSI graduates are aware of their responsibility, and the importance of their contribution to the ethical development of tourism, within the context of intercultural dialogue.

HTSI is a young university, open to students’ active participation, through the culture of dialogue and responsibility, in the spirit of excellence and concern for social transformation, in a context of intercultural coexistence that enables student´s personal and professional growth. This University initiative combines innovation and tradition, a human factor and high technology, academics and the business world, a local identity and a universal mission.

Tourism studies have been offered since 1987. The master in hospitality program ‘Innovative Hospitality Management’ has been running since 2003. The university is situated in the ESADE campus in the neighbourhood of Pedralbes, one of the most sophisticated areas in Barcelona. The Campus offers anacademic environment and top facilities to ensure adequate theoretical and practical training, complimented by cultural, social, recreational and sporting activities.
